"How to Install Minecraft on Linux?"

Question

The second part of step 2 of "How to Install Minecraft on Linux?" reads the package is either corrupted or I do not have permission to open the file. Is there a way to fix this problem. i am using Ubuntu 18.04.

Hi,

You can try installing Minecraft.deb (assuming it's in the HOME directory) as follows:

$ sudo apt install ~/Minecraft.deb

If you still get errors, maybe you have got a corrupted Minecraft.deb file. You need to redownload it.
