Docker Jenkins


Question

I followed the below url - https://linuxhint.com/install_jenkins_docker_ubuntu/ to install jenkins on docker.

while running below comment I get error

docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 --name=jenkins-master --mount source=jenkins-log, target=/var/log/jenkins --mount source=jenkins-data, target=/var/jenkins_home -d myjenkins

Error : Error is "invalid argument "source=jenkins-log," for "--mount" flag: invalid field '' must be a key=value pair".

Please help , it is really urgent

The command shouldn't have spaces after the commas.

 

 docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 --name=jenkins-master --mount source=jenkins-log, target=/var/log/jenkins --mount source=jenkins-data, target=/var/jenkins_home -d myjenkins ( you gave space after log, and data ,) please check your command.

 it should be like  this >> docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 --name=jenkins-master --mount source=jenkins-log,target=/var/log/jenkins --mount source=jenkins-data,target=/var/jenkins_home -d myjenkins
